Cookies and Carols at Trinity
| On December 4th, 2010, the members of Trinity UMC hosted a new event that was a benefit for the Jefferson County Food Bank. Downstairs visitors could purchase cookies from vast trays contributed by members and local businesses. Upstairs Christmas music was played on all the beautiful instruments in the sanctuary. Much fun was had by all and most importantly almost $1200 was donated to the Food Bank. | |

Bonnie Brock, Wendi Metzer, and Molly Jacobson assist cookie buyers in their selections. Cookies were priced at $6/dozen and some of the smaller cookies were sold as two for one. |

Wendi Metzer wraps a bow around the cookies purchased by this charming little girl in purple (actually her grandmother was the buyer and we appreciate her purchase). |

Terry Reitz (on the Mudler), Theresa Bowman (on the Silberman), and Mary Weeding ( on the Petrov) provided a variety of Christmas music throughout the event. Many new visitors to our church remarked on the beauty of the church and the music. |

In a special moment, Terry Reitz demonstrated many different sounds from the new organ to some potential organists. |

Meanwhile, downstairs people continued to select cookies from the awesome array. Here Gail Jenkins looks over the selection as Molly Jacobson awaits her decision. |
